“We went to the candle studio for a belated Mother’s Day outing. Such a beautiful atmosphere for a fun activity! The teacher was very chill and laid back, and interacted with us well. As the wax was melting, we explored the different studios and rooms set up for the interior design business. Very eclectic options with a little bit for everyone! The house and carriage house that the studios reside in are GORGEOUS. The candle pouring was such a fun group activity. We each picked out our own vessel and then selected the scent we wanted. The tables were beautifully set up for us when we arrived and there was a chilled mimosa bar for us complete with fruit and mint garnishes. It wasn’t a very long activity. It lasted about 40 minutes. You do need to leave the candle at the studio overnight to set, but they package the candle beautifully. Opening the packaging to find the finished candle was so satisfying! We were even told that we could bring the vessel back to do a refill session. We were also told that their scents change around a little seasonally.”
